Jeremiah
I keep forgetting to blog this! I wrote it down when it happened but I never blogged it or wrote down a date it was about a month ago.
Jeremiah and I were at BK (I buy a drink and he plays and I crochet for as long as we want) When he came over to me with his Hot Wheels cars he brought. (They are fun to watch on the slide, wink wink) I asked to see them, to see what "kind" of cars they were. He told me, "They cars." So I said, "No, I want to read the bottom." He looked at the bottom of one and says, "Car slow." Then the other, "Car fast." Then shows me the bottoms and says, "See mom."
It was so cute! I laughed so hard and then told myself to write it down because I would forget. Which was true because I wrote it down and forgot about it until I cleaned out my purse.

Jeremiah's eye
Ok I didn't want to post this until it healed, well, I really wanted to post it when it happened but I was so worried about it that I didn't want to worry anyone else.
So I waited.
Jeremiah hit his eye on Monday the 28th around 3pm in the afternoon. And it immediately swelled like a balloon (ok maybe just a golf ball) and I put ice on it and it went down and we laid there keeping ice on it and both fell asleep (I know that's bad but I couldn't help it, it just happened) So after we woke up I checked it again and it was still big but not as big so I let him take a bath and after the bath he said it hurt.
So I looked at it and it was bigger.

So I freaked out and called Jason at school and asked him what to do. He told me that he didn't think the hospital would do anything except put ice on it so I stayed home and used all the rest of our ice and it did go down but it was still big so I stayed up LATE waiting for it to go down more.

It did so I went to bed and took another pic in the morning and it seemed to be getting better, slowly but still.

Then again in the afternoon I took another pic to show it still healing slowly.

Below are two pics from Wednesday morning. As you can see he was fine. Just a black eye. But I have to say he was happy the whole time. (Except when it happened of course)

Thursday was the first day he could open his eye. YEAH!!!

Friday he had a lot of yellow and a little blue but the rest was still red.

Sunday we have a lot less red and a bunch more yellow and he can really open his eye.

Today he is almost done and he keeps saying, "My eye better- it no hurt." (Ya we need to work on speech ha ha)

Sum up
Ok I am gonna try to recap on the last month since I keep forgetting to blog. I fixed my computer about a week after Jeremiah spilled water on it. I did it myself, and it works great. I back up my stuff about every other day since I had to lose some data when my computer fried.
After I was sick Chase and Jeremiah were sick at the same time as me and Jeremiah was so sad I don't think he has been sick before he was hot and didn't know how to handle it so he just cried and cried. Chase just laid on the couch and was fine the next day like the others. But Jeremiah was sick for a couple days and I was sick for a week and then had a cough after that for at least two more weeks. Gillian got sick two more times throwing up both times and had a fever too. In fact her stomach hurt today and Jason stayed home with her from church. Everyone else went today. Yeah!!! We have missed a lot of church this last month or so since we all passed around being sick.
I have really gotten into scouts. (after being sick I was determined) I finished all my training. Bought the whole uniform and even bought most of the boys uniforms. (their still missing neckerchiefs but have everything else) I have read most of the books and ordered one more and got Jacob on a great start to getting his Bear. I am trying to help Chase catch up. (I wasn't at good of a scout mom before now) He is now a tenderfoot. And working hard to finish some Astrology stuff. Both boys went on a camp thing. Chase went camping and helped make food and went hiking and everything. Jacob went on a day camp which is just a hiking and other things day. He passed off like 3 or 4 things going and I let him take my NEW camera and he got pics too. (he didn't even break or lose it)
oh and on a small note I got my nails done again (been doing them since Christmas) and I had them done in green.
ya know for my B-day...

Water and Computer don't mix!
I had an ear ache earlier and Gilli wanted to play on the computer so I said you play and I will lay on the couch for a while. So I lay there for a couple min and then I hear OH NO!!! Jeremiah spilled water all over my tower! I tried to clean it up but it was already inside the front and the computer was frozen. So I turned it off, the wrong way. And dried it out and let it sit for a couple hours and tried to turn it on and nope it still doesn't work it says it doesn't even find a drive in my computer now! I have to reboot the whole thing AGAIN!!! UGH I hate computers sometimes!!! So no computer for me unless I go to the library. Suck for me big time!!!

Family Update
Chase Jacob and Savannah are doing well in school. Chase is in 6th grade. Jacob is in 3rd grade and Savannah is in 2nd.
Chase has to walk to school while Jacob and Savannah ride the bus. This school doesn't let 5th or 6th ride the bus. Chase thinks he is going to make a magic______??? its a new thing every week once it was a wand then it was a car then a house. I never know what he thinks he is gonna creates when he grows up. lol
Savannah has a hard time wanting to go to school in the mornings but after I make her go she is fine and comes home excited. Other than that she is doing great. Most of the time. She likes to start fights with Chase and egg him on to hit her so he gets in trouble and if I tell her to go to time out because I know that she started it she likes to say I don't love her. lol She's such a drama queen.
Jacob is having a hard time with soccer this year he moved up a level and the field is twice as big and there are more rules and He isn't on a team with any of his friends so he is starting completely over. He gets really tired and has a hard time keeping up with the ball. I like it and I don't. I like that he has to work harder to get what he wants so he learns that not everything comes easy. But I don't like that he has to learns it all at once.
Gillian is doing very well with her letters and numbers. She can count to 20. I asked her to count higher but she told me know. lol She likes to tell me what she "cant" do. And even knows what all the letters look like. She can even "read" words. That she has seen before. I think she is guessing but you know what I mean. She is so loud and energetic. She is also jealous, possessive, and persistent. She has such bad mood swings I cant handle it most of the time. I get so frustrated that I have to either walk away or let Jason handle it. She will play with Jeremiah all day and then all of a sudden she is in a fight to death battle over one toy that she just has to have. She can pretend all day that she is a puppy or a ..... and I mean all day I try to go to the store and she tells me (she happens to be a talking dog) she cant go to the store because dogs aren't aloud or because dogs cant wear shoes. or whatever her reason is. lol So I convince her to dress and put shoes on to go to the store and when we get there she barks at all the shoppers while I shop.
Jeremiah says "I love you too" and "Thank you" He also says "Me" if I ask who spilled or who made a mess. He likes to take a nap at 10am and if he can't he likes to scream/cry until he finally does. He screamed all the way to Jacob's soccer game. (40 min drive) Basically the whole soccer game (1 hour) And most of the way home until he fell asleep. Then I had to stop at the store and he woke up and cried the rest of the way home and then at home until about an hour later he finally fell asleep. He can go for hours. But he is the cutest baby I know. He likes to climb on things like the couch and then jump off to the floor and say "uh!" like it took a lot of work. He likes to say please to get stuff likes treats but when you say no he cries and pulls on you until he falls down and keeps crying. He says ya and no to everything. He likes to say "stop" if you do something he doesn't like and then when I say "you stop" He says it back only it sounds like "OOO stp."
Jason is liking the new drive to work since its only 5 min. I am liking the new house since I can section things off better to clean. Upstairs and downstairs and kitchen and laundry are easier now. Since they are farther away from each other so I am less likely to move from room to room on accident (My mind likes to wander when I clean and if I pick up a kids toy and put it away I used to start cleaning their room) We are all getting used to the new neighborhood and the noises and sounds that go with it. The neighbor in front of us has a yard sale/fry bread sale every weekend. The neighbor next to her washes their dogs every night and it smells like wet dog when you go outside, well only if it doesn't cover up the manure smell. There are at least 5 dairy farms just south of us. Well anyway that is life for us right now.

YEAH!!!
Jeremiah turns one today! My little baby is now considered a toddler to some.
And he has already mastered walking. He can also blow kisses now and fold his arms for prayer. And what else can he already do? Wave, Sign "milk", tries to say "be quiet", and "what", he says "uh oh". He's got so many teeth now I can't count them because he will bite me when I put my finger in his mouth. He so smart and I love him so much!
Happy Birthday Jeremiah!!!

Do your kids like to take baths?
Mine normally don't Jeremiah is a whole other story.
He loves water and jumps in whenever he can. Clothes and all. He doesn't care if he falls face first or butt first. He doesn't care who's turn it was to take a bath but it is now his turn. Diaper and all!

Update
I haven't blogged in a really long time and a lot has happened in the last month. Jeremiah has another tooth and is crawling everywhere and standing on everything and everyone.
Gillian is potty training and doing very well but still poops in her undies and not on the potty. She also knows all her letters and tells me which ones she sees.
Savannah is reading very well and trying out new things She even tried to cut her own hair! yup there is a big chunk cut out right on the bottom left side....shhhh don't tell her you know....
Jacob is reading very well too and likes to play with his friends all the time. He never wants to be home and even would rather be at the park in the middle of the day than be at home.
Chase is sick today but other than today he is still reading all the time too and even gets along with Jeremiah all the time. He is a really good big brother to Jeremiah and picks him up all the time and plays with him and gets him food to snack on if I am busy. I just wish all the kids got a long like Chase and Jeremiah.....
Jason is working a lot. He got about 60 hours in last week and still had Monday off.... He works too hard sometimes.
I have not really done a whole lot this summer I have been catching up on laundry and went through the kids laundry and got rid of two big bags of clothes so far. I hung up everything they don't need right now and organized their drawers. I still want to go through their toys and get rid of a ton. And I even painted over some walls where Gilli colored I still have a couple more walls to do but it looks better so far. I even want to paint the family room walls I am now thinking green since I was told its CALMING.... I was originally thinking yellow or Maroon but now hmm...
We go to the pool and splash pad and library during the week and the kids read all the time. Watching movies in between. I need to get re-focused so I don't just lounge around all summer....
I don't do a whole lot since I can tell Jacob to go feed the chickens and check for eggs. Chase can get Jeremiah out of bed and bring him to me then after I feed him I can put him down and he can crawl away to play with toys or a sibling. I never check mail since I pay my bills online and Jason goes to work so I never have to leave if I don't want to.... I should or I would go insane but I don't Have to...

Warning-this post may ramble and not make much sense
Yesterday I was so tired when I got up that I don't remember getting the kids ready for school. (Jeremiah is still not sleeping well-teething) I do remember taking Gillian's diaper off to sit on the potty (still trying to potty train) and then while she sat I was going to lay on the couch for a "minute" when I opened my eyes the clock said 11:30 (the kids go to the bus at 8) So I tried to get up and do something ....anything and was so tired and even a little sick that I just didn't want to do anything I did forget I told Marie I would make a dinner for the missionaries and drop it off. and Jason wanted me to go get Jeremiahs soc since I lost his already whatever. So I made a list of all the things I needed to do. Which included soc sec office, target for storage container, library or they charge me for the book on hold, dollar store for dish soap since my dishwasher still doesn't work. (did I blog about that?) Fry's for some groceries, and something else I new I was forgetting but couldn't remember. So I made myself get up and got Gilli dressed and then remembered Jeremiah wasn't dressed either. ok I guess I have to get him dressed. So we finally leave and go to Mesa to the Soc sec office and they tell me they don't do cards there only benefits. I have to go to Downtown Phx to get a card OK whatever waste of my time. So I hit Target on the way and the library and dollar store and then drive all the way to 7th ave and the 17 and wait an hour and they tell my they don't give out cards just by birth cert? what am I supposed to have hes 5 months? she says I have to get an ID card from DMV or Passport or some odd thing like that. Do people actually do that? Yes she says you are eligible to get an ID card as early as 1 day. So what if your eligible do people actually do that? So I leave and feel very irritated. I wasted and hour and a half of my day and I didn't even get it. So I got to Fry's and magically remember the missionaries and try to hurry (which just slows you down in the end, why I don't understand) Get home at 4:40 and my computer doesn't work so I have to actually call Marie and confess I forgot and just got home and their dinner will be ready in 30 min but I am supposed to be at Chases class meeting his teacher in 20 min so she very sweetly offers to pick up the meal and take it to them for me. Yah! So I get my dinner started and try to get ready but it doesn't seem to work. So Jason offers to finish dinner Yah! (homemade pizza, I thought sounded like a good idea before I actually started making it) So I leave and got to meet Chases teacher (his other teacher had a baby and is taking the rest of the year off) Jason calls me and says call Marie and tell her the food is done (he cant find numbers on the phone even though I have told him 100 times) So I call her and just start talking and then she says who is this oh ya by the way Hi I'm Bridget... and I just told you to come to my home and pick them up and you have no idea who I am that's great sorry Marie. So I got home and helped eat yummy pizza not worth the effort but still yummy (if I do
homemade pizza again I will just buy French bread from Fry's and cover in toppings and cook its just as good and 90% less hassle) Then I look at my kitchen and (remember how all I think about is cleaning?) so even though I feel like crap and am extremely tired guess what I do (this is rhetorical of coarse) I do dishes! All an hours worth and most of them wouldn't come clean even after soaking for a minute. So I ate chocolate while I waited for the dishes to set. Oh ya did I mention Jeremiah was crying the whole time I did dishes. And even Jason holding him didn't work so I even tried to put him in the sling and slide to the back (I did this the other day while I raked it worked well) So about 9pm I was done doing dishes and more tired than ever and still wondering why I had to do dishes right then but I kept thinking if I didn't they would just build up even more. So then I sit down and relax and Jason went to bed about 9:40 (he always goes to bed in the middle of a show?!?) So decide I need some calm down time before going to bed (I know this is so stupid since I was so tired but I felt I deserved it) So then I look at the clock and its 12am oops so much for getting sleep so I go lay down and cant sleep anyway so I lay there until about 1am and the Jeremiah starts crying I look at the clock and its 2 so I feed him and cant get back to sleep so I just lay there and wait. Then I wake up and its 5 so I got a little sleep. And then at 7 I didn't want to get up at all. So I made myself get up and deal with stuff. Then remembered I planned a crock pot dinner (to make it easy on me, right? like I wanted to do stuff bright and early in the morning) So then I keep telling myself if I get the stupid potatoes cut up and thrown in I can lay down as a reward then Jason calls and tells me to pay all the bills. Great now I have to spent time doing stuff again. No nap for me. I may however sleep while I type....

Toothy Toothy
Jeremiah has his first tooth! He got part of it on Friday and then kept me up all night Saturday night crying from getting the rest of it I am so tired. I was so tired this morning that I laid down and didn't hear the kids playing load or anything I woke up at about 1 in the afternoon, and Jason was playing with the kids and doing other stuff. He asked me "How did you sleep with all the kids being loud?" I didn't even notice oh well so much for church and eating lunch. lol

2008 in review
This year has been better than the last. (but then again last year really sucked so it wasn't hard to top)
Jacob turned 6 and started 1st grade this year. His teacher says he is doing great at everything and excels in most subjects especially reading. Jacob played soccer this year for the very first time. He excels at this too...if only he wouldn't hog the ball and block his own players, but for his first time playing ever I think he did great.
Chase turned 9 and has been doing scouting for a while. He really gets into it. He still loves to draw and does so every chance he gets. On every paper he can find. He acts goofy every chance he gets to just the other day I saw him doing a weird dance for Jeremiah and when I asked what he was doing he just said "dancing".
Gillian turned 2 and is still in nursery she loves it and yes they did start teaching a lesson and reading books and other stuff. she can pretty much repeat everything you say and tells me things like " I go get my baby you stay here. I be right back." I love it so much. She however does get Savannah's attitude sometimes, and tells me "no I don't want to, I hate you." She hasn't been potty trained but I am working on this slowly I just get so frustrated when I sit with her for 15 minutes and NOTHING! Then I get her off the potty and she pees, but we will keep working slowly She cant stay in diapers forever, right.
Jeremiah was born in September and is growing fast. He can already roll over from front to back. Hold himself up in the Bumbo seat. And do the superman on his tummy. He is cooing like crazy, and whacking everything with his arms. He still nurses every two hours but sometimes gets a 4 hour nap in at 7pm.
Savannah turned 5 and started kindergarten, and loves it. Her teacher says she does great in class and everyone likes her. She sounds out every letter in a word to try to figure it out. I love it. She is still so small that the school clothes that they sell didn't fit her so she had all dresses for school. She did get her first thing of lice from school, and it took two weeks to get rid of it all. She does get her moms attitude sometimes and wont do anything for me but I guess I have to expect that from a 5 year old
Jason still has the same great job. Even through the cut backs. We were lucky. I has even managed to keep getting 40 hours a week even with the economy being slow. Jason turned 36 this year, and I pick on him for being so old all the time. :) Jason works hard to keep us with all the things that a growing family needs. We may not get everything that we want but who does?
I have been doing fine this year. I again forgot about my goals I set last year but this isn't something new. I did learn some new crafting things. I learned some new cooking skills too. I also read some books too so I did accomplish some things I wanted to do. Just not the real important stuff. (Of course if I go off of Helena's comment I pretty much don't need goals for this year since I can cross them off with her thinking :) thank Helena) Also I do have to say that since I started blogging more I feel good about keeping up with all this family stuff that should be journaled(sp). I turned 27 and didn't really notice since its not really a big deal. I always thought birthdays would be a big deal but the last 2 years haven't really mattered. I did accomplish one big goal that I didn't tell anyone which was getting my recommend current again so I do feel great about that. I guess I need to be a lot less worrisome this year I think my problem is I want to have everything done and perfect Right Now and if it isn't I get frustrated and stress, but anyway this is what I sum up our year as.
