Chases cake and stuff

Chase wanted a Harry Potter Cake. Not one shaped like him or anything he wanted the one Hagrid made Harry. So we  I made a chocolate cake -double layer- with chocolate frosting. And you can't forget the chocolate glaze on top. Plus I had to write Happy Birthday Chase in Green it couldn't be any other color. I had to return the orange I bought. Not orange GREEN!

Well then I had to make cupcakes too since he invited 8 kids + our kids + the Davis family. One double layer cake wasn't gonna do it. But lets face it cupcakes are easy peasy and only took a couple extra min to make.

Well then only one kid ended up coming and we still have a bunch of cake........

Chase's 13th Birthday

Jacob turning 10 is supposed to be a big deal and yet I am having a hard time getting into it. Hence the late blog. His birthday was the 11th and here it is the 19th and I am just getting around to it.

Jeremiah's Birthday

My baby boy is three and I am getting an idea of what my house will look like when theres no kids in it....I think this is why I keep having kids....

Older than I think

Jason asked me what I want for my birthday. I couldn't think of anything so I asked the boys. Jacob said a cell phone or a new car. Chase said a cane to help me walk since I am old...I then told him he was grounded for the rest of his life and he said I meant that you could keep it until you get old...

ya right he thinks I am old.
Then Jason was watching a motorcycle show and a lady on it wanted to be someones "old lady" instead of being "shared" (eeww) anyway back to my story. So I guessed before the show was over who she would be with and then told Jason I knew it! And he said in a couple days your gonna be my old lady... MEAN!!!

So I told him he owes me a 6 carrot ring for saying something like that ...he said he would bring me the carrots and I could figure out how to make it into a ring...LOL

I had a great birthday! Monique and I hung out and went to the library and then we went to my house where she insisted making her lunch equaled doing my dishes but I so don't agree. Then I laid down with Gilli on the couch for a half hour. Got up cleaned the house and Jason made dinner for me and the kids, thank you very much. Then all the Davis' came over surprise to me and She made me a cake, good thing she told me it was just sad if I made my own cake and I needed to have Jason make it for me.
My sister, mom, and dad called me to wish me a Happy Birthday. My brother and lots of friends emailed or messaged me Happy Birthday. It was a great day.

I have 5 kids

and have been married for 9 years.....

I am 28!!!
Yes I know I cant possibly have 5 kids and be 28 but guess what I am and if you add 18 to that I will be 48 when Jeremiah is 18 so WHOO HOO for me!!!!!

My Spring Break Week

I didn't really plan anything for Spring Break but Monique reminded me that they were leaving the whole time and so I would be watching their chickens and then after they left I already missed them Sunday after church so I decided Jason could watch the chickens for a couple days and I would go to my moms for a couple days. We went and had fun. I forgot my camera so no pics but I read a lot and went for walks (OK one long walk) and the kids rented movies from the library and played whatever weird games they play outside at my moms. Sadie liked us visiting her and was jumpy all the time. I watched a couple of movies with mom while the kids were supposed to be asleep. Then we came back on Wed afternoon and Jason informed me that one of the Davis's chicken was MIA so that wasn't good. I went to the Phx library and they have a better selection than the Tempe (maybe because Phx is bigger and they have 15 branches compared to the one in Tempe) The girls came over on Wed and hung out until Sunday I didn't really get much done on my chore list it seems like with the kids home all day I didn't do much. Jeremiah is really balancing well on all fours and lifting himself up He has been sick the past week and a half so its random crying all day and night. So I didn't go to church since I didn't want to deal with crying off and on for 3 hours. (Well at least not at church with others around) Chase was sick for a couple days too. Oh ya I met my sister half way for lunch and traded give away stuff. (yes we give each other our crap to give to others) Jason took Trae out for her Daddy Daughter Birthday dinner. And then took me out for my Birthday dinner and the Dart died 3 times while we weer out and so he played with it for a good 30 min. and then during dinner talked about fixing it so I think he owes me another dinner. Hee hee no I liked my dinner with him we went to Bill Johnson's (the first place we ever ate together) and shared a "For 2" Meal. And then went to the part store and home to pick up Jeremiah and then to the store to window shop. And that's pretty much it. I didn't really do a whole lot this week I just I hope I get out of my funk soon.

Woo Hoo!! My Birthday!!

Ok so I love my clothes line and managed to do all my laundry Friday and Saturday and I have about 14 loads a week. I made Amish Friendship bread and Fresh lemonade. Curled my hair for Church even though it starts at 9.
I finished Jacob's Star of the week even though I forgot about it. (and even though the picture I wanted wouldn't come up since I had Moe take it with her camera) And got the boys to school on time with homemade lunches. I watered the garden and threw a load of blankets in since Gillian and Savannah like to leak out of their diapers every night. I am making sure I can make extra bread on Thursday for Jason's home teaching families. Moe gave me stickers for my scriptures. (Thank you very much) and I have been putting them on this morning too. I did dishes too. and its only noon.

My busy weekend!

Alright so I should have posted this a while ago but I've been kinda busy...
lets see since Saturday (after being sick for 4 days) I had Jacob's birthday party, had game night with the Davis', Church early morning, games on Sunday too. No school on Monday so that was busy (park with Moe), (thats when I French braided Savannah's hair for the first time) Then after that I was just plain tired and didn't really do a whole lot, but anyway Jacob's birthday party...
I didn't really plan the best again but I did eventually get invitations out (only a week late) then I actually got back RSVP's thats nice So then I actually think about the food and cake and time. Which I normally forget. So then I normally have to have the party late and then I am tired and dont really want to do it. and also I forget about food and end up trying to pick it up right before the party making myself late to my own party. But this time I had a good time, had the cake done early (made one so I wouldn't have to pick it up for said reason) Knew what I wanted for food and had Jason's help to pick it up early. Then at the party I watched all the kids while Jason was in charge of food. So when the kids got there I took them to the park while Jason cooked hot dogs and then we came to eat. Then back to the park while Jason cleaned and got cake ready. Then we cleaned up and did presents and then parents came it was fun and still short and sweet. I enjoyed it very much. Hardly any stress. Thats the best part.

So then I went to clean up and this is what I see. Gilli sitting the tote and I say what are you doing? And she just smiles at me. ha ha what a goof ball! I t was so funny to me that the big messy room didn't even bother me.
