Awesome Dress

OK, This dress I LOVE! And a whole lot more than the other dress I made. The other dress took for ever and took more yarn than the pattern called for, plus I didn't even really like it after it was done. So I did a really sad thing I took the WHOLE dress out. 
Yup it was really sad. boo hoo :-P 
Anyway I got a different pattern I saw on Pinterest and started making it. This one said it would only take 3oz but I figured I have 7oz so I should be good if it takes more, right? 
Yup I have a ton left over! 
This dress is so cute and if I want to make it longer I totally can! This ladies dress pattern saved me! I was about to just throw away the other dress and never look back! It just made me sad to look at it...and thinking about taking it out made me sad too. So I figured well if keeping it makes me sad I might as well just throw it out, right? 
WRONG!!!!

Baby dress I made

This one took a while and I wasn't sure if it would turn out well. I messed up on the first couple of rows, just like on the blanket but I talked myself into fixing it since I didn't have anything else going at the time. Then I got the order for the blanket so I made that and then finished this. Well the pattern said it took 6 oz to make and I had an old ball of 7 oz baby yarn so I was good to go. Only I ran out of yarn and the stores don't sell that color or brand anymore. So I tried the leftover yarn I had from the blanket and it didn't turn out very well at all. I think it looks yucky so I will post a pic but just know I am going to take out the dark color and wait until I figure out what to do.

Pregnancy vs Baby

Pregnancy-extra table for plates and cups (tummy!)
Baby- cant put plates and cups on baby and spill when you eat with baby

Pregnancy-carry baby all day every day and never lose an arm
Baby- lose arm, chest and a hip

Pregnancy- ignore baby all night and you sleep
Baby- ignore sleep all night and feed baby

Pregnancy-eat whatever, whenever
Baby-eat when baby's not eating or scarf food as baby starts to cry

Pregnancy-kids poke belly just hurts you
baby-kids poke baby and now you have to feed baby again to get back to sleep while baby cries

Pregnancy-no extra clothes or diapers or laundry or bathing
Baby- all extra! ^

Pregnancy-no period for 9 months
baby-bleeding longer and heavier than normal period

Pregnancy- no tummy sleeping after a couple months
Baby-lots of tummy sleeping

Pregnancy-no dieing hair
baby- can now die hair

Pregnancy-baby kicks ribs
baby- kicks air

Pregnancy-hiccups affect both mom and baby
Baby- only affect baby

Pregnancy-cant bend over and do things
baby- can now bend all you want

Pregnancy- heightened smell

Pregnancy-hard to cook
Baby-people bring you food! no cooking!

Baby

For those of you that care to know. I went to the doctor today and she said I was 3 to 4 centimeters and 70 % effaced. So my baby that has no name is getting ready to come.

Babies, babies, babies...

So we have about 4 weeks til our "due date" (which means nothing since babies dont come on their "due date") and still have no names that we really like. I still cant decide which diapers I really want or which would be the cheapest. My rib cage hurts ALL the time. I want to sleep on my belly. I want to color my hair. and I am just so ready to be done being pregnant. And to top it all off I think I will probably go past the "due date" anyway. So just fun, fun, fun.



Then a couple weeks ago I was feeling depressed and nothing made me feel better. I had done all my chores for the day, should have made me feel accomplished, but it didnt. SO I read some of my book boring...Did some crafting....ate some chocolate...still didnt feel better. So I thought if I knew what the baby was and NO ONE else knew, I knew. Then maybe I would feel better. So I went out to the truck to get the envelope...(maybe I should explain this first...)Monique wanted to know what our baby was just for extra stuff and what not. So when we went to the ultrasound at 20 weeks we didn't want to know but we had the doctor put in an envelope what it was for Monique.
SO anyway I go out to the truck and look for the envelope and it says...

Congrats its a baby....you peeker.

So I laugh and think our doctor is so funny...Monique doesn't even know what we are having.
But then I tell Jason my stupid story and he says...No Monique must have done that after she looked at it. So he calls Monique and after talking it over. She had stolen the original and put her funny paper in there. So I laugh some more and think...What a funny day I had, had.

Interesting

I felt the baby move the other day. It kinda helps me feel better about it. I told Jason that I cant really feel it "like kick" but I can feel it move and touch other organs. And he grossed out. So Thats why guys cant be prego.

I also told him I wanted to have a home birth and he responded with. Why? Then you don't get time off. But if hes here anyway then I would, right? So maybe a little more convincing and he could be for it.

Cant even choose a name...

So normally I have names in mind as soon as I find out I am pregnant. but this time I have no idea what names I like so here is a small list I have made. Please comment and let me know what ones you like and don't like.

B: No, I think I am, Jacob.

J: Why?

B: Because I had 4 babies.

J: Trae had 90 million babies! hahahahaha

T: I don't have any babies?!?!

B: Trae can't have babies, she's not married, right Trae?

T: he he, yup, thats right.

J: Why?

B: Because you cant have babies unless your married, thats the rule.

J: Thats funny, Chase had 90 million babies hahahahahaha
