Monique's wonderful birth

I have never seen a birth other than from my own point of view. (which is not looking down because I would stop laboring all together lol) So Monique was a great friend and let me come watch from a totally different point of view.
Watching someone give birth is amazing! I never think about what I am actually doing when I am doing it. I am amazed I did this 4 times (Chase was c-section) I don't think I would ever do this if I remembered what it was like that far down the road. Which is why I think most women forget or everyone would have one or none. But I was totally amazed at how Monique labored and did her breathing and stayed calm. I felt like a wimp watching her control her breathing and just focusing how she did.
I almost missed Monique's birth because Jason had to go to work, and you cant schedule a birth. But Jennifer was nice enough to offer to watch all my kids while I went. So I got to go in the morning and see everything through. Now yes we joke about the fact that the only reason I wanted to see her birth was because she saw my...
but honestly I don't remember that part of it. I just remember seeing a tiny bit of hair, and then a lot of hair, and then a BIG head, and then a even BIGGER body. But watching her give birth was so cool. And my thinking didn't really make sense while I was thinking it but, for some reason I didn't think the baby could be that big. Until I saw him. Then I kept thinking I DID THIS!!!! WHAT AM I NUTS!!!
But I am glad I got to see someone give birth. And really glad it was a close friend, you know so it doesn't get awkward and all.
Thanks Monique for letting me see your.... birth. lol

Babies, babies, babies...

So we have about 4 weeks til our "due date" (which means nothing since babies dont come on their "due date") and still have no names that we really like. I still cant decide which diapers I really want or which would be the cheapest. My rib cage hurts ALL the time. I want to sleep on my belly. I want to color my hair. and I am just so ready to be done being pregnant. And to top it all off I think I will probably go past the "due date" anyway. So just fun, fun, fun.

Then a couple weeks ago I was feeling depressed and nothing made me feel better. I had done all my chores for the day, should have made me feel accomplished, but it didnt. SO I read some of my book boring...Did some crafting....ate some chocolate...still didnt feel better. So I thought if I knew what the baby was and NO ONE else knew, I knew. Then maybe I would feel better. So I went out to the truck to get the envelope...(maybe I should explain this first...)Monique wanted to know what our baby was just for extra stuff and what not. So when we went to the ultrasound at 20 weeks we didn't want to know but we had the doctor put in an envelope what it was for Monique.
SO anyway I go out to the truck and look for the envelope and it says...

Congrats its a baby....you peeker.

So I laugh and think our doctor is so funny...Monique doesn't even know what we are having.
But then I tell Jason my stupid story and he says...No Monique must have done that after she looked at it. So he calls Monique and after talking it over. She had stolen the original and put her funny paper in there. So I laugh some more and think...What a funny day I had, had.

Um, What now?

Ok so I wasn't going to blog about this since I didn't think it was that big a deal to talk about. I have had a crock pot for about the entire time Jason and I have been together. My sister has borrowed it many times and this last time was no different. She always returns it cleaner than when I gave it to her, lol. But I forgot it in Jason's truck and when we went Christmas shopping the next day it was still in the back which would have been fine except that Jason went a different way and didn't see a speed bump and when we went over it it flew in the air and slammed down and broke the ceramic pot part but not the lid. So no more Crockpot. (now, what?) Well Monique asked me today if I wanted her old one, since she didn't need it anymore. Woo Hoo a crock pot!!! Yes I sure do want it!!! Thank you so much!!! Now I can make easy dinners again! Woo Hoo again!!

More Goals...

Ok so at Monique's request I need to add:
Not being so hard on myself.
And then I wanted to add:
Having sheets for my kids beds all the time no matter if they pee on them every night! Which in turn means that I need to keep up on laundry all the time. Which makes Jason right again. I should probably do 2 or 3 loads a day to keep up on it better. But I just hate laundry! I hate it so much that if I was rich the only thing I would hire someone to do would be laundry!
