Big Waste of My Time and Money

Ok so ...I hate laundry...right....everybody should know this by now...but I kinda got behind since I haven't done laundry in a week, so I decided to take ALL my laundry to the nearest laundromat and just do it all at one time. But... this ended up being a waste of time and money. I have a big washer and when I guesstimated my loads I based it off MINE. So I would have done 13 plus a couple blankets. but then I got there and saw 3 loaders so I figured I would use these and save money but each of my 2 load baskets was full in the 3 loader uugg then I forgot detergent so I was going to just buy it there but they wanted $2 for 4 loads that would have been $12 just for detergent so I made Jason bring me some from home. but... he was nice enought to bring me detgerent just the most expencive detergent I have (that I usually use just on diapers) but I didnt even say anything since he was nice enought to not only bring me detergent but watch the kids the whole 4 hours I was gone. So I put soap in and wait then realize that I didnt bring enough cash for the dryers so I grab Jerem and run to 7-11 and get more cash. Then the dryers are not as hot as my dryer so I ran the dryers 3 times each and still not everything was dry so I gave up folded stuff and went home and then still had to put stuff away and finish drying the stuff that didnt dry. So 5 hours later I still dont have everything clean and I spent like $26 and sat at a launrymat and couldnt do anything else while I waited for stupid laundry to wash. ......Waste of My Time And Money.
So today I will finish the towels and jeans that didnt dry and blankets that didnt get done and school clothes for monday.

Oh my gosh, Bridget, I hate when stuff like that happens. I have such high aspirations of how great an idea it is and then it's just a mess. And I definitely empathize even more since I've been using a laundromat here for the last year and it is a TOUGH-Y! My only good news though, is that the CD expert lady I bought mine from said I could use any detergent that said "Free and Clear" of perfumes and dyes. So I've used ALL (free and clear) for the whole 17 mos and it works awesome and I don't struggle with pee smell or anything. It's usually one of the cheapest on the shelf too. Anyway, maybe your expensive detergent was meant to say farewell so you could get some cheapie stuff from now on? I've been meaning to ask you how you like the brand and style of diapers you you got - will you do a mini-review of them on the blog?

I've considered doing that in the past... now I won't :) Thanks for the tip.
