I have such high aspirations of how great an idea it is and then it's just a mess. And I definitely empathize even more since I've been using a laundromat here for the last year and it is a TOUGH-Y! My only good news though, is that the CD expert lady I bought mine from said I could use any detergent that said "Free and Clear" of perfumes and dyes. So I've used ALL (free and clear) for the whole 17 mos and it works awesome and I don't struggle with pee smell or anything. It's usually one of the cheapest on the shelf too. Anyway, maybe your expensive detergent was meant to say farewell so you could get some cheapie stuff from now on?
