Jason wanted us to say the pledge of allegiance on veteran's day. and right after the kids asked if we could say the Declaration of Independence. What? I don't know that??? Do you? Yes! They say. So say it. And they did....
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. —
and Chase continued to say even more. Jacob and Savannah stopped early but Chase just kept going. So Kindergarten and 1st grade learn a little at a time and Chase has learned more already. but I didn't even know they say that every day at school. They probably told me in their own way... "What did you do today?"
"Nothing."
