Laundry Soap

So I finally made my own laundry soap off pinterest. I have a friend that already makes it and she has 5 kids and says it lasts her 9 months so I figured I'd try it. I took some pics. It doubled in size after adding the clorox 2 and I added the Purex Crystals this time but if I make it again, I wont add them to the mix I will just save it and add it to loads I feel need it since I dont smell it in the mix. It smells good though.

My Hair

In May of 2011 it looked like this. 

Then in June I chopped it all off. (donated it to charity in honor of my aunt who had cancer)

By August of 2012 it looked like this.

Yes I should  have a pic from right now but I have my hair up and I don't feel like doing it. Plus its pretty much the same length only I dyed it black for now. But I wanted to post this so I remember why I am not cutting it. Since that's all I can think about when it gets this length.

I made one from the pattern From Glenda. And it turned out great. The only problem is Jacob didnt want to sew it to his beanie. He likes all of his beanies. 

So I made another one with ear loops instead. 

He loves this one! 

So I made his friend one and he gave it to him for his birthday.
